I’m Tired

yawning-baby.jpg

I’m tired.

Every single fiber in my body down to the core of my mind and soul is tired.

A bed made of peace and solitude with the soothing sound of my children’s laughter and my wife’s gentle caress would relax my beaten body. Yes, a little bit of peace and solitude would wipe the exhaustion away.

Just a short nap, a really nice power nap that will make me dream of  my grandfather’s rocking chair would do the trick.

I should rest but I can’t.

The wood are lovely, dark, and deep,

But I have promises to keep,

And miles to go before I sleep,

And miles to go before I sleep.

  1. THANK YOU CHRIS, now I feel all sleepy, but I too have lots to do!!!

What can I say - I can totally relate. :-)

  1. Dette Said,

lol - man - I am RIGHT THERE with you. A sinus infection/cold is creeping up on me, and it’s all I can do to keep from going back to bed. But with work, the monsters and school projects that need to be completed today… looks like I’m stuck.

Right there with you with “miles to go before I sleep.”

    Beautiful!!

  1. I love the photo. That’s precious.

    Hope you’re feeling 100% soon.

  1. Chris -

Take rest. We’ll need you here for long time.

  1. Robin Said,

Oh dear I hope you get some rest soon!

  1. Bruno Said,

    Get well soon Chris.

  1. @Everyone–Thanks for your comments and concerns. I’m usually pretty good at managing my fatigue but sometimes my tank gets empty. Thank God that I started blogging. Now even when I’m tired and stressed, I can get away from everything and just focus on my blogging or reading other people’s blogs. I never really thought that blogging can give a respite from the day to day grind.

    Peace out ya’ll!

  1. Becky Said,

Must be something about the day. I’m seconding your emotion.
