I’m Tired

I’m tired.
Every single fiber in my body down to the core of my mind and soul is tired.
A bed made of peace and solitude with the soothing sound of my children’s laughter and my wife’s gentle caress would relax my beaten body. Yes, a little bit of peace and solitude would wipe the exhaustion away.
Just a short nap, a really nice power nap that will make me dream of my grandfather’s rocking chair would do the trick.
I should rest but I can’t.
The wood are lovely, dark, and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
Robert Frost
